...Thanks to The Soul Sensations for your fabulous performance at our
wedding recently! First, let me tell you what a pleasure it was to work with
you. Your professionalism was second to none. Of all of the people we dealt with
in putting on this event, you were far and away the most responsive and
proactive. In fact, you were the only one who routinely called US about details,
rather than me having to chase people down. This in itself was a joy.
But this isn't about business, it is about the music! The set list was
superb, and the execution flawless. I cannot tell you all of the rave reviews I
have gotten, but "The band was incredible" has been a common refrain. It takes a
great deal of dedication to pull off such classic material with the energy and

June, 2010 The Soul Sensations are one of the best live bands we have ever heard,
anywhere. They completely blew away all our guests at our recent wedding,
and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. We had a very mixed crowd,
all ages, all different musical tastes, and everyone absolutely loved The Soul
Sensations. We received so many compliments throughout the night.
Guests ran up to us on the dance floor and after the party were over to tell us
how much they loved the band. They sounded fabulous; they are very
talented and very musically tight. The singers were incredible and had a
huge range. They even learned a song we requested and completely rocked it

To anyone who is looking for a fun, professional, and great-sounding band, we recommend the Soul Sensations without reservation. The music was excellent - and musically very tight. They rolled into number after number without a hiccup. At one point we had so many people dancing the floor was shaking. Our wedding was the second for both of us, and we had a wide range of ages among the guests, including many children 7-18, as well as grandparents, and everyone in between. Dan Belmont worked with us to quickly get a set list that was fun for everyone, with a real groove. Last, for those of you who worry about the details, these folks were easy-going and accommodated a last minute change of venue, with an acoustically tough room. They were courteous, very well dressed, they showed up on time, and set up ready to dance. We would hire them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a great, professional band that is not "screamers" or hard rockers, but loaded with energy and soul.

The Soul Sensations… What can I say? They were awesome. They kept the entire reception on their feet. The dancing simply would not stop. They were the best wedding band I’ve seen in a long time; they were way better than any DJ.
We had a wedding in our family just a couple months before my own and although their food was amazing, everybody loved the choice of music at ours. We heard all night about how The Soul Sensations were incredible. The recent bride told us that she had a better time at our wedding than her own, and it was all due to The Soul Sensations.

Having The Soul Sensations perform at our wedding was one of the best choices we could have made! We found them on the internet and immediately booked them “blind”. They were very responsive and professional via e-mail and their enthusiasm really came through. Since we had only heard their song sampler, we drove to one of their gigs in Berlin, CT, and after only one song, we knew that we had chosen a highly talented and entertaining group. After we saw that amazing performance, we became a little concerned in the opposite direction, since the venue where our wedding was planned—the Harvard Faculty Club—was tiny compared to the venue that they were playing at that night. However, after they set up and started the first set (jazz music during dinner), it was clear that their experience and talent make them a perfect fit for any size audience. The Soul Sensations really kept our guests entertained, everyone loved them and we got many many compliments about their performance; in fact, many of our friends who don’t usually dance were on the dance floor all night long. The Soul Sensations helped make our wedding even more enjoyable than we had imagined!
Once again, thank you so much for everything, we really had a great time and we will recommend you to anyone we know who might need a band.

The Soul Sensations performed for our July 10th Wedding in Kennebunkport, Maine. We were thoroughly pleased with their sound, their talent as instrumentalists, and their professionalism. Both vocalists were spectacular in their performance, they kept our guests dancing and smiling. One of the hotel guests later told us that the music was so good that it had them dancing in their room. We would highly recommend The Soul Sensations to anyone wanting great Motown music or in need of highly skilled jazz musicians. The band set the perfect mood for our once in a lifetime wedding party.

My wife and I hired The Soul Sensations for our wedding on May 30, 2009. As I was a bit picky about the sort of music I wanted for our party as well as about the quality of the musicians, only a few bands sufficed. My choice for The Soul Sensations was based on their (apparent) ability to capture the groove and feel of every song they covered, their quality vocalists, and the very reasonable price tag.
The fact that we had to arrange our wedding from The Netherlands, where we live, made it even more difficult to fine tune all the details concerning the music (among lots of things). However, Mr. Daniel Belmont did an excellent job taking away our concerns, assisting us – by e-mail – through every step of the way.
In case you are worried about the fact that their web site contains only studio samples: they perform just as well live. In fact, they rock! They really got the party going right away, and were able to keep our guests on the dance floor until the last song was over. We cannot even remember how many people asked us where on Earth we had found this band, and told us they were just great. Even the photographer, who surely has seen his share of live cover bands, congratulated us on our choice!
In short, The Soul Sensations would make an excellent pick for your wedding party, as well as probably any party. They were really helpful from the outset, and play and sing very well.

The Soul Sensations played at our wedding reception in Lisbon, New Hampshire on June 26, 2010. It was a perfect performance with one jazz-trio set during cocktail hour and then 3 more sets of Motown, R&B and rock classics.
The band was perfect for us. Their three singers are very good and the rhythm section was tight. Every one of our guests remarked at how much they loved the band.
The band arrived on-schedule, and was set up before the ceremony to avoid any distraction. They were very considerate and accommodated our song requests and our no-play list.
All in all, the Soul Sensations are professional, talented, cooperative and reasonably priced. We recommend them without reservation.
